Manitoba launches SuperHost program for tourism aid
Manitoba moves into a new phase of the SuperHost customer service program aimed at visitors. A 90 thousand dollar pilot funded by the Canada Manitoba Tourism Development Agreement supports three hour seminars for public service workers across 17 communities with 1300 participants and 40 leaders trained since spring 1989. The program operates under ERDA and the Tourism Agreement, with funding continuing until March 31, 1991 despite the main agreement ending.
