Golf Back Pain Prevention From Wellness Letter
The UC Berkeley Wellness Letter outlines practical steps to prevent lower back pain in golfers. Warm up and stretch, strengthen abdominal and back muscles, maintain proper swing posture, bend at hips and knees, shift weight correctly, and walk the course when possible. Also avoid heavy bag carrying and distribute weight evenly across shoulders, with occasional shoulder switches.
