Evening Auxiliary Meeting Highlights Stewardship Program
The Evening Auxiliary met at Mrs. Lorne Caldwell's home on May 17 with 30 members and 2 visitors. Delegates to Birtle Presbyterial were Mrs. G Smith and Mrs. G Baker who shared Miss Bates missionary remarks and evening speaker notes. The program committee Eula Woods Dorothy Hudson V Taylor and H McIntosh presented an engaging stewardship program followed by a social half hour.

Presbytery W A Meeting Held at Strathclair
The third Annual Meeting of Birtle Presbytery Woman's Association was held at Strathclair United Church on Wednesday April 27th. Despite poor roads attendance was the best yet with reports from department secretaries and greetings from Conference W A and Osborne Home. An afternoon talk on Light Leading and Work and the installation of new officers followed, along with a life membership presentation to Mrs Earle Keating and talks on Christian Citizenship and courtesy resolutions. The session closed with an inspirational address by Rev Marguerite Miller.
