Death of Herbert W. Gilroy at Brandon Hospital

Herbert W. Gilroy died Sunday at Brandon Hospital from blood poisoning and lockjaw after a harrow injury. A 40 year old farmer, he lived in Hamiota four years, previously from Glen Ewen Sask. Survived by widow, two children, four sisters, four brothers, and mother. Funeral from Hamiota United Church to Hamiota Cemetery.

The Late Mr H A McIntosh Obituary

Henry A McIntosh died at his home on Wednesday May 17 1939 aged 67 after months of illness. Survived by widow one daughter Mrs Shewfelt of Treherne and five sons Earl of Regina Jack of Miniota William at home Howard of Island Falls and Wilfred at home. He came from Cardale ten years ago and was manager of the Hamiota Co-Op from its start until resigning two years ago due to ill health. A member of Court Hamiota No 367 Canadian Order of Foresters. Funeral from Hamiota United Church followed by burial in Rapid City cemetery with a large church attendance and many floral tributes.
