Results from Hamiota Festival crown Wilma Delbridge tied for vocal solo and Young People's Trophy. Elaine Maddock and Carol Rivers win piano duet. Marian Smuttell with Louise Murray also top in duet. Dozens of local residents honored in music drama and community events across Decker and Brandon area.

Achievement Day Held at Oak River Klipper Klub

Achievement Day at Oak River Klipper Klub with 200 guests on May 9. Miss Thompson and Miss Dyker judged the year’s work. all 24 members received red ribbons. Five girls earned gold seals for four years of work. Presentations were made to several leaders and Miss Alma Sedgwick received a travelling clock.
