Winter browning of evergreens and peas seeding rates
Winter browning of evergreens results from moisture loss during warm windy winter and early spring. Buds not damaged allow spring regrowth. water and light fertilization aid recovery. For peas, seed rates vary by size to reach 50–55 plants per m2, about 60–70 to achieve that stand. charted seed weights guide bushel-per-acre equivalents. Contact Ag Office for full chart and weights.
