A dilute nicotine sulphate spray repels dogs and cats from flowers and shrubs. The harmless mist is strongly offensive to animals even when scarcely noticeable. Obtain nicotine sulphate from seeds or garden stores and mix about a half teaspoon per gallon of water. Reapply after rain or about every two weeks in ordinary weather.
