Second Annual Scottish Heritage Day in Winnipeg June 23 1991
The Forks National Historic Site will host the 2nd Annual Scottish Heritage Day in Winnipeg on June 23 1991. Events include an 8:30 a.m. church service, running race, Highland dancing, solo piping and drumming, tug of war, heavy games, shortbread contest, and a Scotsman contest with parade at 12 30 p.m. Admission is free for spectators with tickets for adults 15 and children 8. proceeds support the School of Scottish Arts Inc.
