Manitoba Milk Prices Rise On Production Costs
The Manitoba Milk Prices Review Commission increases maximum fluid milk prices effective April 1. One litre containers of homogenized and two percent milk rise by two cents, one percent and skim by one cent. Producers’ prices rise by 1.06 cents per litre to reflect higher feed and grain costs. The move targets Winnipeg and Brandon with specific maxima and follows a shift toward fewer regulations.
