The Birdtail River School Division No. 38 met March 22 1977 at Crandall at 7:00 p.m. Trustees present include Butcher Murray Choptuik Rapley Bunn Shier Armitage Lewecky Tolton Huber Jean and Waddell. Addendum notes Birdtail River Teachers Association proposed amendments to the 1976 Collective Agreement and an arbitration award of 14 percent pending Anti inflation Board ruling.

OES Meet at Shoal Lake Royal York Chapter No 30
OES reports three meetings this year with Heart Month film on The Heart. Peter and Ann Funk led the Heart Fund Campaign with good response. Plans advance for June official visit and Fall Tea and bazaar. March 11 special meeting featured Jobes Daughters Bethel Temple Brandon. Next meeting in April.
Spring Meeting Held In Hamiota South West A Region
The Spring Board Meeting of South West A Region was held in Hamiota on March 16 with 25 locals present Arden joined the region and had a representative Georgia Hyndman presided The secretary and treasurer duties were handled by Sheila Archibald and June Bollman The convention program features the Shetts of Neepawa with the theme Sharing Our World The date April 26 at Crandall and a 5 PM dinner are noted.

A Birdtail River Fine Arts Festival meeting in Strathclair School Library on March 7 approved adding an organ class to the Non-competitive section for the spring session. Organ classes listed from Novice to Advanced. A request for in service on singing and folk dancing was carried. Some rules were tabled for the spring meeting.
