Birdtail River School District hikes levy to cover shortfall
Birdtail River board raises the special levy by 2.17 mills to bridge a 2.96 million shortfall after withdrawing 100000 from surplus. The move keeps the mill rate among the lowest in Western Manitoba while projecting changes in staffing and IT funding and planning four new buses annually.
