Hamiota council reviews 1994 policing report and highway plans
The March 1 meeting included Corporal Gerry Poole who outlined the 1994 policing report and current concerns. Highway reps and Chamber of Commerce members discussed upgrading PTH 21 and internal village streets, with parallel versus angle parking debated. Wage rates for water break help and grader operator set, February accounts approved at 11 086.70. Manitoba Health Services Commission ambulance grant application filed for 1995.

Councils purchase shed for joint use in Hamiota area
The R M of Hamiota council met on February 7 reviewing correspondence. A shed from Redfern Farm Services will be bought for recycling and shared with the Village of Hamiota. The secretary will seek a price for 30 numbered highway signs with hardware. Ag. Rep. John Patterson reported on the MCVET seed trial group. January expenditures totaled $46,542.80.
