Mrs W B Strachan left Thursday for a short visit in Winnipeg. Mr and Mrs Beasley of Finn Felan are visiting their daughter Mrs J Morrison. Their son Walter returned to Petawawa Saturday. Miss Jean Gill of Jasmen Sask spent a few days with Mrs J Morrison. Mrs A Smith’s daughter M Moran returned to Conquest Sask last week. An evening at Oskner High School’s box social raised a good sum. U P U met at Mary MacKay’s home with Christian Citizenship Group led by Helen Rosas Isobel Allen Edna Jarrett and Mary MacKay.

Friendly Crandall Curling Day Cleans Up
Crandall hosted a cordial curling day with two outside rinks from Decker and Miniota. Each rink played three games, posting one win and two losses apiece. Mr. C Lyng and Barrie visited Brandon at Mrs. W. Skeen’s home. Mr. W. Hyndman remains in Hamilton Hospital after an appendectomy. An ambulance drive raised $9200 for the school. Mr. Pressman rode the Winnipeg train Sunday to join his wife and baby daughter home.
