Resignations and gatherings fill the Starkweather area notices. Elgin Amerlican Church sees a tendered resignation as community events include McConnell's Hall assembly on March 21, and a Zion Church mission concert Friday March 14. Local families travel, sales and fairs are announced along with health updates and visiting plans across Brandon, Winnipeg, Carman, Hamiota, and Knox Church.
The weekly Bible Study Club met last night in the Zion Church parlor with 67 in attendance. Dr. H. M. Reid led a concise, able discussion and a general dialogue followed. The next gathering is Wednesday night the 19th with Mr. Jour wins) leading. All invited.
The Anglican Christ Church announces no morning service on Sunday March 16 1924 the 2nd Sunday in Lent. Evening service at 3 pm includes a sermon titled Faith the second in a Lent series. Sunday School at 7 pm. All are welcome. Reverend F Lonimore Rector.

Knox Presbyterian Church outlines Sunday services with Rev Geo Lockhart leading lessons titled Fundamentals and Forces to Seek Help. Schedule includes choir music, Sunday School at 2 pm, preaching at 3 pm, and future topics on faith virtues and encouragement. Community items note Hamiota Fair on July 17 and a play at Lavinia Church on March 1. Oyster supper offered after mixed local events.
