Health board faces tough decision in rural Manitoba meeting
A March 4 turnout at the Hamiota Community Centre showed strong public concern over health reform. Panel members from the Northern/Rural Regionalization Task Force and the Marquette Regional Health Authority outlined the shift toward a regional health authority while stressing uncertainty and the need for more information. The board must decide whether Hamiota join the RHA, contract services, or delay action, as residents voiced support and skepticism.
