How to Make Your Tires Last Longer

Reasons not to drive faster than safe speeds
Higher speeds cause more tire wear due to slippage and road friction. Brakes work harder and wear rubber from tread. High speeds generate excessive tire heat softening rubber and increasing wear. Driving at reasonable speeds saves tires and also conserves gasoline oil money and lives.
