The Miniota Hamiota and Blanshard Trustees Association schedules its second semi annual convention at Beulah Letermed iate School on Friday July 6 1017. Program includes registration at 10 30 am discussions on school visitors teacher training and combined intermediate schools, welcome addresses by local officials, greetings from sister associations, multiple speaker addresses including W Iverach J Malcolm and W A McIntyre, lunch served at noon and tea after, with all trustees visitors and ratepayers invited. God Save the King.
The competition fields must cover 10 acres in the district feeding the Society’s headquarters. For Wheat the entire 10 acre plot must be one variety, while for Oats the plot may include two varieties. Ensure freedom from other varieties and Brain og.
The Grain Growers annual picnic at Shoal Lake on Wednesday July 4 features baseball athletic events tennis and toreeshoes. Three speakers R C Henders Manitoba Grain Growers' Association J L Brown Pilot Mound and W H English Harding will address the gathering. A decorated auto parade will proceed to the grounds.
