Mrs Sarah Williams marked her 99th birthday on June 22 at Oak View Nursing Home Winnipeg born June 22 1874 in Everett Ontario she moved to Oak River in 1905 and has a large family including 30 grandchildren and 63 great grandchildren. She holds life memberships in several orders and received gifts from relatives and dignitaries. Messages from Prime Minister Trudeau opposition leader Stanfield and Diefenbaker among others. Out of town visitors included Lorne Robbins and Thomas Lake residents from Manitoba communities.
