Successful Evening at the Tennis Court Opens Season
The lawn tennis court hosted a lively season opening with an afternoon tea last Saturday evening. Hostesses Mrs Bennett Mrs Edwards and Miss June Cochrane organized the event for townspeople youth and beauty. Spectators shaded chairs watched two courts busy and refreshments served under a tent. The hosts plan to repeat such evenings periodically through the summer.
