Oak River Blanshard Council Sets 1988 Actions and Grants
The eighth regular council meeting of the R M of Blanshard, June 14 1988, covered waste site fencing, an electronic cash register, soil sampling for the Oak River lagoon, a disposal tender, a 50 kmh speed area hearing for Cardale, committee appointments, hosting the 1989 district meeting, and budget movements including ambulance grants, fire department grants, and cemetery funds. Delegates heard from MLA Harold Gilleshammer and Fire Chief Vernon Darroch on local issues. audits, correspondence, and accounts were reviewed. the office will close June 27 for a district meeting in Sandy Lake.
