The council met in the Village Council Chamber with all members present. They adopted minutes, received petitions on school district consolidation, appointed William Joergens as arbitrator, approved a 2540 dollar grant to the YMCA Triangle Fund, and ratified the May 7 cheque. By-laws to borrow 12000 dollars and to add lands to Hazelbank School District passed. Finance supported various payments and road works. The meeting adjourned to July 6. A prize list announced for Brandon Provincial Exhibition with craft and livestock divisions and a note on entries closing July 13.

Hospital Visitor Rules And Hours For Patients
Visiting Days allow private wards 3 to 5 pm and 8 to 9 pm daily. Semi private wards 3 to 5 pm Wednesdays Fridays and Sundays. No more than two visitors per patient at a time. No overnight visits without special permission. A board charge may apply. Parcels require prior permission. Visitors must register in the Visitor's book.
