Convention by Crandell Next Week
The first convention of the Wo and Missionary Beekery of Birtles district will be held at the Methodist church Crandell on Wednesday June 25. Afternoon service at 2 p.m. Evening service at 7:30 p.m. Mr Ray Staesy and Mrs Dr Allen Davidson a Neagoe will be present. Offering will be taken at each service to defray or provide compensation. The programme lists devotional exercises, reports, papers, music, and addresses led by Mrs Dr Allen Davidson and Rev Mr Ganr with various local participants.

Minota Conench Rural Municipality Minutes Adopted
The Minota Conench Rural Municipality council met at Crandell on March 2 with the Reeve presiding. A series of resolutions were carried including funding for telephones, rail crossing plans, bylaw 397 on debentures, bridge site reviews, tax collection for sick or injured, and a joint bridge petition to higher authorities. Adjournment to be called by the Reeve.
