Christ Church Hamiota announces no service on Sunday evening June 17 1945 due to a Memorial Service at United Church. The following Sunday May 24 the service moves to 11 o clock in the morning because of the Memorial Service at Miniota.

Glen Wins Marquette in Recounted Polls

James Alison Glen again leads the Marquette constituency with 5875 votes for Liberal-Progressive. Webb tallies 4750 and Ewbank 4509, giving Glen a majority of 1125. Hamiota polls show Webb ahead of Glen.

Hamiota W I Holds June Meeting At Orange Hall

The regular W I meeting met in Orange Hall on Tuesday afternoon June 5. Mrs L King led the Creed. Delegates were chosen for the District Convention in Birtle June 21. Letters from overseas including Agnes Frazer were read. Next meeting set for September.
