The Ladies' Patriotic Society held a June meeting noting no sewing or regular meetings in July and August due to the Jambie Sale on June 29. They plan sweater distribution for the Navy, urge donations, and announce a June 29 Jumble Sale at Mc Connell's Hall with wartime regulations and community support.
Village council proceedings note adoption of revised 1918 assessment roll, tax sale advertisements for arrears, and grants to Agricultural Society and Y M C A Triangle Fund. Finance committee authorized payments including salaries for John Hibbert and By Reeder.
