Hamiota Loses First This Season In Oak River Tilt

The Hamiota nine suffered their first defeat, 5 to 4 at Oak River, after five innings due to late arrivals and costly errors. Umpiring drew critique though the game remained tight until the fourth. A separate Wednesday setback at Miniota saw Hamiota blow a lead as Miniota surged in the late innings.

Viola Dale Sunday School plans a basket picnic on the th of July at Salt Lake shores after Hamida took their July 1 date. The Ladies Guild met, electing Mrs. Pollock president and other officers.
