Local Notables’ Visits Move Through Winnipeg and District
Local residents from Hamiota and surrounding areas are noted visiting Winnipeg and nearby towns. A church ordination in St Matthew’s Pro-Cathedral saw Rev. H. L. Newton ordained as priest. Community events include Women’s Institute meeting, district reports, and a large Victory Loan drive surpassing its initial goal. A jumble sale to raise funds for Victory Bonds is announced with items and eligibility for trades.
