MRHA rejects join request and updates on staff and meetings

The Marquette Regional Health Authority board denied McCreary and Alonso municipalities from joining the region after reviewing hospital and physician utilization statistics. It accepted Dr. Ed Hudsons resignation as Chief of Staff effective June 30 and resignations from two district health advisory members. Meetings to form healthy community committees are set for Minnedosa and Erickson on June 14 and 15. A locum funding request is to be confirmed in writing.
