Hamiota Council awards market road contract and approves 1930 program
The Hamiota Manitoba village council met May 31 1930 with all members present. E P Stein Oak Lake was awarded the market roads contract pending Good Roads Board approval at 156 per cubic yard. Pipes for 1930 roads to be purchased from Western Steel Products. The road and bridge committee to acquire land for diversions. Tenders for gravel work to close June 28. Finance committee approved numerous payments including road markers cemetery trees and engineering salaries. Meeting adjourned to June 28 at 2 PM.
