Doris Henry records the dismantling of the 1929 Oak River six room school on highway 24 by Peter Wensel of Sandy Lake. From November 1984 to April 1985 he removed walls and roof leaving only the floor as memories fade, with reusable lumber hauled away and a gravel mark replacing the front steps.
