Second hog barn approval granted by RM council
Premium Park won approval at the RM of Hamiota council meeting on July 12 to build a second hog barn about eight miles northeast of Hamiota. Landowners are aware of the project and manure agreements are in place. Construction will start after permits, with local sentiment mixed but overall support for economic growth. A similar site is being sought in Shoal Lake and another barn is planned.
