Lois Willard Vickery Dies After Long Illness

Lois Willard Vickery also known as Lois Delbridge passed away at Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg on July 7 1977 after a prolonged illness. Born June 22 1908 near Hamiota she spent her life in the Hamiota and Oak River area. Funeral services were held July 11 1977 at Hamiota United Church with burial in Hamiota Cemetery.

Mrs Margaret Kirk of Scotia district died at Hamiota General Hospital at 12 45 am Wednesday June 29 1977 after a brief illness She would have turned 83 on July 5 1894 birth year She leaves husband Gordon son Harvey daughter Bernice and four grandchildren plus two great grandsons Funeral held July 2 1977 at Hamiota United Church with Rev H Lynas officiating Campbell's Funeral Home in charge.

Elizabeth Jean Ritchie Dies in Hamiota Hospital

Elizabeth Jean Ritchie aged 79 died suddenly on June 29 1977 in Hamiota Hospital. Born April 30 1898 in Tyrie Scotland she came to Canada in 1921 and lived in Scotia district then Pope. Survived by son Keith daughters Ida McConnell and Gladys Johnston, four grandchildren, two sisters and one brother in Scotland. Funeral at Campbell's chapel with Rev H Lynas and Scotia Cemetery interment. Pallbearers listed.

Taylor Napper United Fort Garry United Church Wedding
