Weed Survey 1978 Reveals Major Infestations in District

Manitoba weed survey across Blanshard Hamiota Miniota and Woodworth districts documents Green Foxtail as the most infested weed, present in 95 percent of hectares, with 67 percent of fields using herbicides correctly though 13.3 percent were applied too late. Wild Buckwheat and Wild Oats also prominent. several weeds resist common phenoxy herbicides.
