Tornado Dazes Burlington Beach on a Summer Day
A calm July 10 at Burlington Beach ended with a tornado sighting near Shoal Lake. Residents watched as the funnel cloud moved northeast, causing damage to the Koroscil home and nearby cabins. Meteorologist Eric Stanzeleit provided tornado basics and safety tips, urging shelter and caution for mobile homes and large-roofed buildings.
