Trail Riders Return From Historic Canadian Rockies Ride
The Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies have returned to Lake Louise after a silent, reverent journey from Banff and Lake Louise. Notables like Guy Weadick and Duke de Leuchtenberg joined a high altitude rodeo near Ptarmigan Pass, while artists and writers such as Morley Roberts and Madge Macbeth rode in the historic event. Next year’s ride plans extend to a six day trek through the Assiniboine country with a later join by a three day contingent near Red Burth Creek.
