Punitive rush? Winnipeggers visit before Hargrave trip
Pope Alf Saunders and family of Winnipeg spent Dominion Day with his brother A Gilmour en route to Hargrave. Aunt Mrs Kerr joined for a week. Miss Jessie McGhee left Roseneath School for a position at Glanton School and now camps at Clear Lake for two weeks. Recent rains overflowed the CN.R. dam making two grades unsafe pending an outlet. Wheat heading out shows a strong stand likely to yield a bumper crop if weather cooperates.
