Hollin rake to occupy bench in Saskatoon
Col O S Hollin rake named to the magistrate bench after confirmation by Attorney General Blackwell. A former artilleryman in the first great war, he commanded No 2 District Depot in 1947. his wife Faye Clevering had been slated for an intercollegiate beauty contest in British Columbia before Saskatoon entries were withdrawn. The piece also hints at town protests near Port Arthur and a Chicago fur raid, plus Peel County temperance activity and Rev L S Osborne.
