Mandy Taylor rides to National finals promise in rodeo
Mandy Taylor, a grade nine student from Hamiota, excels in high speed rodeo on her horse Tippy. She finished fourth in barrels and second in poles at the Manitoba High School Rodeo provincials in Miami and earned Rookie of the Year honors. Her top finishes qualify her for the Canadian National High School Rodeo Finals in Ponoka.

Graduation ceremonies were held on Friday June 26 with Principal Mike Boyle as emcee Audrey Lints delivered the Valedictory. Grade 7 and Grade 8 subject and general proficiency awards were presented to a large group of students with Cali Ramsey Katie Strachan and Sheena Hamilton earning top marks. Middle Years Sports Honour Rolls named top male and female athletes. Senior subject awards listed numerous students across keyboarding business math science and languages.
