Hamiota Village Council approves by laws and staff hires
The May 24 and May 29 1978 meetings approve Delmar Kirks tender for a Ferguson tractor By Law 778 and By Law 9/78 first second and third readings. They hire Kevin Bray and Gordon Longmuir for pool work and apply for summer help under the Manitoba Private Sector Youth Employment Program. They discuss 50 50 cost sharing with Manitoba Water Services Board for water and sewer work and oppose policy changes. They approve building permits and set June 21 1978 Midwestern Municipal District attendance, declare July 20 1978 a public holiday, and push for fire hall roof repairs and lagoon enzyme orders.
