Arrow River W I Meeting Recaps Year Start and Plans
Thirteen members met January 16 at Mrs. Bob Gardham's home. Creed and thoughts on winter opened the session. Members shared reasons for not being involved in crime as youths, citing strict parenting. Treasurer reports a $103.34 balance. Next meeting February 20 at Mrs. Lockhart's with Mr. G Fulton on Family Law. A Children's Aid Society letter thanked the group for a layette. Christmas towel gift from Kinsbourne Green W I in England raffled to Mrs. Gardham. Hobo Teas planned through February. Miniota W I to join Arrow River W I in donating a Birdtail School Division Band trophy. A committee was formed to draft a resolution. A crime in the community program was presented under Mrs. Lelond's guidance. The group pressed for strong family life and discipline. Mizpah Benediction closed the meeting with lunch.
