Evangelistic Services Draw Large Crowds in Hamiota
Special union evangelistic services are held each evening at 7:30 in the Methodist church led by Rev H H Gilbart of Winnipeg and local pastors. A men’s mass meeting follows next Sunday at the Presbyterian church with Mr Wu Chambers as chairman and Mr Gilbart speaking on Guvan's Call for Men. Two weekday meetings occur Tuesday and Friday at the schoolhouse.

Curling Final Sees Anderson Triumph in Close Bout
The Presid. vols curling final matched G S Anderson against R Ek Hunter last Saturday. A tight game despite the cold drew a good crowd. After four ends Anderson led 9 8 and stretched the margin to win by 2 points in the last end. The prize competition by Mr RB Hunter will begin at open.
