Last Monday the town discusses fallowing plans while residents report measles grippe and a warm spell. Royal Mint branch opened. CURLING club and hockey games announced. Edward Hanlan dies in Toronto at 52. many locals travel, attend lectures, and plan balls, sermons, and school events.
A quiet New Year’s Eve wedding united Tena May Abbott and B R McNaught at seven o’clock in the Abbott residence. Rev I G Crozier officiated as Mrs G N Hindson led the wedding march. The bride wore gloria over taffeta and a ruby pendant. bride’s maid Mrs Kershaw of London Ont. Ed L Stone was groomsman. A wedding dinner followed with a large cake by J D Forsyth & Co Miniota. Guests from Rapid City and nearby towns attended the ceremony and reception.
On Christmas night at six in Crandell Mr T Borland’s home hosted the marriage of Rose Mabel Finkbeiner to J T Finkbeiner. Rev Osterhont officiated with Hon. guests, sharing music, a supper, and gifts. The couple resides in Crandell.
