Internet Forum to be Held in Hamiota Jan 13
A funding proposal for an Internet access project in Hamiota was approved with $29,960 from federal Community Access Program and $30,000 pledged by the RM and Village councils. Donations in kind will cover the rest. The initiative aims to provide up to date government information, enable electronic medical and educational networking, and foster economic development in the district. The project is supported by the Hamiota District Health Centre and Birdtail River School Division, which envisions interactive communication across the division and province.
