William John Cochran a longtime Hamiota district resident died at his home on Sunday January 5 1936 aged 76 years 1 month and 7 days He was born near Clifford Ontario married Ellen Reeding in 1887 and moved to the area in 1889 He served as Hamiota Municipality councillor for 14 years and Reeve for 7 and was a longtime member of the Orange Lodge Funeral services were held at Hamiota United Church with burial in Hamiota cemetery.
