Canadian Enterprise Building Opens as Landmark in Southampton
The west Canadian Pacific Building at Southampton, opposite the South-Western Hotel, opened on Monday Sept 4 and is set to become a notable traveller landmark. The stone front, colour washed brickwork, and interior by A H Jones and P A Staynes blend black and red tones with practical rubber fittings to reduce footstep noise. Jenkins & Sons of Southampton completed the work for the Port of Southampton traffic offices run by Mr David Drummond and staff.
