Decker Ladies Aid and WMS Meet with Prayers and Prizes
The Ladies' Aid and WMS met at Mrs F W Decker's home for a day of prayer led by multiple members. The men’s bonspiel concluded with prizes awarded across Grand challenge, Citizens' event, and Farmers' events. The Decker rink won second prize in the Guzonne and third in the Grand challenge at the Crandall bonspiel.

Passing of J L Johnston Pioneer of Crandall
J L Johnston of Crandall died at his home on February 21 1929 aged eighty three. He came from Campbell's Cross Ontario in 1881 with family and settled at Portage la Prairie in 1882 before homesteading Crandall. Survived by two sons Leonard and Lorne and two daughters Mrs James Crawford and Nettie Johnston. wife predeceased him. Funeral held February 22 conducted by Rev W T Brady Oak River.
