Oak River continues active as the hockey team plans a Friday night game. Rev. McCualla settles as minister on Miller Street. Residents return from the coast while Bell Telephone crews install new phones. Train service info now available from Hamiota station agent. WMS hosts Rev Salter lecture on Bees Butter and Flies at the Methodist church Tuesday evening. Roads remain poor hindering wheat hauling and the old school site shifts beside the post office on Cochran Street. Elections loom as Oak River plans to support the right candidate.
Mrs. Fannie Griffen of Troy Alabama reports a twenty year skin ailment cured by Chamberlain's Salve after other physicians failed. The salve is sold by B. Ro McNaught and local dealers.

Leader Brown condemns rid ington charges against Mr Ferguson as false and says the race should focus on issues. Ferguson plans meetings in Crandell and Hamiota to discuss the allegations and invites opponents to attend. Brown claims the tactic could backfire and boost Ferguson.
