Hamiota Health Centre Auxiliary discusses ROTA and Bill C-69
The February 22 1991 meeting heard Dr Hudson outline the ROTA on call rotation and warned that Bill C-69 could force provincial funding shifts by 2004, risking hospital closures in small communities like Shoal Lake Rossburn and Birtle. The group debated preserving Rural health and organizing events such as blood donors clinics and speakers.
