Seventy five pounds of 27-14-0 lifted barley on wheat stubble from 20.9 to 45.8 bushels per acre. An extra 143 pounds per acre of Crested Wheat Grass seed was harvested with 120 pounds of 27-14-0 applied.

Montcalm barley on second crop land yields 145 bushels per acre with Elephant Brand 16-29-0 fertilizer and 11.79 per acre profit after 22.61 fertilizer cost. A brom ealfalfa mix is noted.
