Mr Samuel Kirk died Saturday evening after a brief illness. His death follows a recent fire that devastated his home. Funeral services were held at Mr Andrews home with about 150 attendees. He leaves a bereaved wife and children.

Mr Wm Andrew states a previous report claiming he moved the consolidation motion with Mer F Venables as seconder is incorrect. The minute book shows Venables did not move and Delbridge did the second. the motion urged consolidation if transportation could be arranged.
