Journey For Sight riders pause in Hamiota on -40 C leg
Participants in the Lion's Journey For Sight arrived in Hamiota at 3 40 p m on Wednesday February 9 after leaving Winnipeg at 8 00 a m in temperatures around minus 40 C. Several riders suffered frostbite but everyone stayed upbeat as they warmed with coffee before heading to Birtle to join the rest of the crew en route to Flin FLon to raise funds for the Lions Eye Bank.
